In the middle of vehemently denying The Atlantic report that President Trump called military members losers and suckers.

The President publicly commented on how he perceived military sentiments are towards him.

“I’m not saying the military’s in love with me — the soldiers are, the top people in the Pentagon probably aren’t because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy,” The President said to the press in a press conference.

As Trump continues to deny the entirety of The Atlantic report, more media outlets are conducting independent research to validate the article.

A former senior administration official confirmed to CNN that Trump referred to fallen US service members at the Aisne-Marne cemetery in crude and derogatory terms during a November 2018 trip to France to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

Other outlets, including Fox News, have confirmed much of The Atlantic’s report.

With only 56 days until the election, and for a President that has proclaimed himself not just the “Jobs President” “but the military and law and enforcement President” this could be devastating to his reelection hopes.

The general elections are conducted on November 3rd, 2020.

The President and White House administration remain steadfast in their denial of The Atlantic story.
