Kanye West missed the deadline to get listed on the South Carolina ballot as a candidate for President. South Carolina required petitions signed by 10,000 people be submitted but the West campaign did not submit any signatures.
Oklahoma where the only requirement to get on the ballot is a $35,000 fee with the application will be listing Kanye as a candidate for president.
Since the 4th of July West has waffled on running for president. His #2020VISION may be looking more like 2024 Vision or maybe not. His fans and detractors alike speculate his validity of his campaign run.
Some of his comments sound presidential “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.”
Then again, some comments and approaches seem to be way off the presidential mark. He appeared in South Carolina this week at what was billed as a campaign event. His performance there made people including his family, question if he was in the middle of a bipolar episode.
His rambling comments there included a swipe at the historical abolitionist figure of Harriet Tubman, saying she just had slaves go work for other white people, he went to the hospital because his brain was too big for his scull and he cried over what he said was a time when they almost decided to abort their daughter.
After the appearance, West retreated to his $14 million dollar ranch complex by Cody, Wyoming. By Monday night he was tweeting his wife was flying to Wyoming with a doctor to lock him up.
In a tweet this morning West’s indicated he was trying to get divorced from his wife, Kim Kardashian, but the tweet was deleted within minutes.
Kanye West made headlines when he met with President Trump and wore the Make America Great Again hat in support. Later he made a break from that support to start the DBY (Birthday) party.
In an interview with Forbes West Indicated if he won the presidency everyone would be celebrating like it was their birthday and that he would run the White House like Wakanda the fictional kingdom from the movie Black Panther.
He also told Forbes he is cautious about a Corona virus vaccine “They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can’t cross the gates of Heaven.”
